Function Widget

The Function Widget (functions) is the central trigger pad of the Unilighter console. It gives operators instant, one-touch control over all pre-programmed show assets during live performances.

🎯 Supported Function Types & Visual Color Coding

Each function type features distinct visual styling, custom border glow, and emoji indicators for immediate recognition on a dark stage:

1. Static Scenes

Scene Trigger Button

  • Visual Style: Amber / Orange border glow.
  • Behavior: Activates static lighting cues, calibrated color moods, and position presets with pre-configured fade transition times (e.g. 2000 ms).

2. Keyframe Animations

Animation Trigger Button

  • Visual Style: Cyan / Royal Blue border glow.
  • Behavior: Starts dynamic multi-track motion chases, wave generators, and tempo-locked lighting sequences.

3. Node Graph Procedural Macros

Node Graph Trigger Button

  • Visual Style: Emerald Green border glow.
  • Behavior: Toggles background procedural Node Graphs on and off. Perfect for audio-reactive bass pulses, continuous LFO pan/tilt sweeps, and generative rainbow waves.

🕹️ Operating Modes

The Function Widget can be configured into three distinct operating modes:

  1. Buttons Grid Mode: Color-coded touch buttons for fast busking.
    • Exclusive Mode: Activating one button automatically deactivates other buttons in the group (ideal for mutually exclusive color washes).
    • Hold Mode: The function stays active only while the button is held down (ideal for blinders and strobes).
  2. Cue List Mode: A sequential stack for theater and scripted concerts, allowing systematic step-by-step cue progression with split fade-in/fade-out times and Go/Back/Pause transport.
  3. Scenario Mode: Embeds full theatrical play screenplays or song lyrics with clickable inline cue tags and an integrated stopwatch.
