This documentation is for early development devices provided to a small number of trusted people. The software and interface may change during development.
Connect to Solo
- On your phone, tablet, or computer, connect to the Wi-Fi network Unilighter-Solo.
- Enter the standard Wi-Fi password: unilighter2026. If your device says the network has no internet access, stay connected.
- Open http://solo.unilighter.cc in a browser. You can also use http://10.10.10.10. If the domain does not open, use the IP address. Enter http://; Solo does not use HTTPS on its local network.
Start page
The start page has a Launch console button that opens the lighting console. It also links to the online documentation and Solo product information; those links require an internet connection.
The This Solo panel shows the firmware version, device ID, IP address, uptime, and reason for the last restart. Open Technical journal to read recent device messages; use Refresh to reload them. The journal can include messages from before the previous restart when that history is available.
Using the console
Solo runs the Unilighter console in your browser and sends DMX directly from the device. It supports one DMX universe. The Solo version does not include the stage visualizer.
Projects and fixture profiles are stored on the Solo device. Use Save in the console and check the Saved on Solo indicator to confirm the project was written. Export backup downloads a copy of the project and its stored fixture profiles, which you can keep or import in another browser.
The console also provides Blackout and Restore output controls. Keep the browser open while running a show; prevent the device screen from sleeping.
